2 Tips to Level Faster in World of Warcraft

By Seth Symonds

WoW masters use many different tricks to level faster. In this article I will expose 2 WoW leveling tips that will help increase your leveling speed. The techniques I'm about to reveal are both fairly basic but do make a big difference.

1. Set your Inn/Hearth Location to Dalaran or Shattrath

When Blizzard released Burning Crusade back in January 2007, there was a funky little addition. Portals in Shattrath City that link to all other major cities.

What this basically means is that if you set your Hearthstone to "Shat" or Dalaran you can get to any of the other major cities clicking on the portal of the place you want to go.

In Shattrath you can choose between 2 different places to set you Hearthstone. This makes things a little more confusing because in Dalaran there are obvious inns.

1. Aldor Rise

2. Scryers Tier

You can find Aldors Rise and Scryers Tier by asking one of the guards, alternatively press the "M" key and they will appear on your map. Hint: You can take the lift to where you want to go. Scryers Tier is to the South, Aldors Rise is to the West.

When you come to go down the lift, you can actually jump right off it and you wont die. You'll only die if your character is extremely weak or has low quality gear.

If you're not yet a level 74, you'll need to get a Mage to open the portal for you. This usually isn't too hard to do in most cities - you might just need to flick the made a little gold to cover the cost of the reagent they will need to use to port you.

2. Get one of the new Add-ons for In-Game Leveling

A few cool leveling add-ons have been created in the past 6 months. What these do is show you in game exactly where you need to go and what you need to do for each quest. It saves you a lot of time spent wandering around - these patches really are amazing.

If you want to level quickly and easily, I highly recommend you try one of these add-ons. For most people they double the speed of levelling. - 23802
