Chronic Bladder Infections Should Be Treated As Soon As Pssible

By Jason King

A small percentage of urinary tract infection sufferers struggle with their infections for a long time. Their UTI won't go away, and this can happen for a number of reasons. What you must avoid is, creating a drug resistant bacteria because of the amount of antibiotics you're using to cure your infection.

Fifty percent of urinary tract infection sufferers already need a second course of antibiotics to treat their infection. This is because the first cause is usually useless because the bacteria is already resistant to it. Because antibiotics are prescribed millions of times a year, the bacteria that live in your body slowly becomes resistant because of all the exposure if you've taken them before.

Resistant bacteria are on the increase because of all the exposure they get from antibiotics. It doesn't matter what infection you have been prescribed antibiotics in the past, the bacteria in your body has been exposed, and this exposure increase the chances of resistance.

The bacteria that causes over 90% of urinary tract infections is the E coli bacteria, and this lives in your bowel. This means that it has been exposed to every course of anti bacterial drugs you have ever taken. Before the bacteria naturally die they mutate into a stronger strain so then they breed stronger bacteria.

When drugs no longer cure your infections it's time to look at alternative treatments. Natural cures don't create resistant strains of bacteria so they work every time. They also work a lot faster than conventional treatments, and are much kinder to your immune system. Too many courses of antibiotics weaken your immune system, and they destroy your body's bacterial balance.

You can't treat your infection the exact same way every time, and then expect it to be cured one day. All your going to do is make the infection worse by creating a stronger strain of bacteria. This is how the bacteria react to the things that are trying to kill them, their natural defense is to mutate into a stronger form.

The longer your UTI won't go away the more chance you have of your infection spreading to your kidneys. You must do something as soon as possible to eliminate the bacteria from your urethra. If you don't want to try an alternative treatment then you need to see your doctor as soon as you can. - 23802
