Wild Cherry

Wild Cherry has funk / rock had a big success in 1976 with the funk song "Play That Funky Music".
Parissi Rob (vocals, guitar) was in the solid, diversified steel town of Mingo Junction, Ohio [1]. Parissi Mingo is a graduate of the school in 1968. Rob has his first group in 1970 in Steubenville, Ohio, one miles north of Mingo Junction, Ohio, on river.
